Faye (Holt) Smith

Faye Holt Smith, 92, of the Mt. Carmel/Coburg community, died Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville

She was born January 29, 1934, in Taylor County, to the late Marvin Luther and Anna Mae Perkins Holt.

Faye was a member of Mt. Carmel Church and retired from Fruit of the Loom.

Survivors include:

One daughter – Sherrie Jo Smith of Columbia

One son – Micheal Lynn Smith (Debbie) of Columbia

Two grandsons – Kenneth Lynn Smith (Tiffany) and Shawn Smith (Diane) all of Columbia

Five great-grandchildren - James Smith (Samantha), Rylie, Jacob, BubbaJ and Phillip

Two great-great grandchildren - Rhaelyn and Bella

Several other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Lanny Garner officiating

Burial in Hovious Cemetery

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday
